Welcome to a new year of Faith Formation at St. Mary Parish. This year we have a new Pastor, Fr. Kurz and a new DRE (Director of Religious Education), Austin Rahill.
In our conversations we have decided that we will have community service hours this year, not a lot, but remember even a little bit helps someone else. Some examples-videotaping Sunday Mass, Altar Server, Choir, Rosary Camp, the front flower beds at school and cleaning of church. More things can be added to the list. We will need adult supervision to do some of these projects so we need some volunteers, please consider helping us.
I am working on the calendar and trying to cross reference with the Public School and Community calendars, which means it is subject to change. Date to remember, Confirmation February 15, 2023 and 1st Communion May, 2023. More details to follow.
First Day of Faith Formation is September 25, 2022, 8:15 am (Grades K/1), September 28, 2022, 5:15 pm to 6:30 pm (Grades 2-6) and 6:45 pm to 8:30 (Grades 7-10). Parents are welcome to join us for the first half hour to ask questions and see the Faith Formation hall.
Faith Formation is to help our youth to grow their Christian Faith as Catholics. Regular attendance is very important. Please register your youngster in the Paris Office so that we have all the correct information and return paperwork before September 21th, 2022.
If you have any questions; call Marcia Cross at 920-487-5005 x102 or leave a message at the parish office.
Thank You,
Austin Rahill
